She is a PHD candidate in Literature, holds Master of Philosophy in Literature and Bachelor of Education (Arts) from Moi University. Currently, she lecturers at Alupe University. She is the Timetable and Examination Coordinator and the Quality Assurance Champion of the School. She initially worked at Mount Kenya University as an assistant lecturer and with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) as a teacher. She has published, attended workshops, seminars and made conference paper presentations. She has membership affiliation to Kenya Oral Literature Association (KOLA), KISTRECH Theatre International, Christian Scientific Association of Kenya (CSAK), Language Association of East Africa (LAEA).
