Biography

Ms. Ruth Adhoch is an emerging researcher and writer in the area of Hospitality and tourism. She holds a higher diploma in Institutional management from the former Kenya Polytechnic, a bachelors degree in Hotel and Hospitality,Management,and MA in Tourism Management. Currently she is pursuing her Phd in Hospitality Management. She is the coordinator of Hotel and Hospitality department in Alupe University College. She is also the attachment and reserch coordinator in the Schoolof business and TVET trainer in AUC.S Ruth has a vast experience in teaching in TVET institutions and is passionate researcher on trainers and trainees pursuing hospitality courses.She also a content creator on various social media handles.

Research interests

Areas of research include training and education of hospitality courses in TVETs and Universities. Major concerns include content delivery, curriculum development and trainee and trainer attitudes.Also of interest is trainers use of modern technology for training.Entrepreneurship among SMEs in hospitality sector
