Prof. Sarah Bundotich is currently a Senior Lecture at Alupe University where Lecturers Educational Psychology courses. She is the Ag CoD Educational Psychology, Management and Policy Studies and a member of several University Committees. Previously, she worked under TSC as a teacher of English and Literature. She is an Educational mentor and author.
She holds a Doctorate in Educational and Psychology, awarded in December 24th 2017; University of Eldoret. Thesis title: Influence of School System and Adolescence on Adjustment of Form One Students to Secondary School in Uasin Gishu County, Kenya. Also a Master of Philosopy in Guidance and Counseling; Moi Univerity. Thesis title: Perception of gifted students on selected academic factors on academic performance in secondary schools in Uasin Gishu District, Kenya.
Research areas have been mainly on matters that influence academic performance among students. With the outbreak of the pandemic, COVID-19, a study was also carried out with regard to its effects on mental wellbeing of learners and their parents. The current ongoing project is on leadership and management in the Kenyan Universities during the Post- COVID era, a case of Alupe University.
