The Alupe University library has received a major endoserment after being certified by Kenya Libraries and Information Services Consortium (KLISC). This grants the AU library unlimited rights to access over a million electronic reading material for both undergraduate students, post- graduate students and faculty members.

Accordingly, the Kenya Library and Information Services Consortium was established in 2003 with the main objective of collective subscription to electronic resources to cope with the increasing cost of information resources. The consortium draws its membership from University Libraries, Research institutions, Public/National Libraries.

This certification comes barely five months after the maiden visitation by a delegation for the consortium in 2025, where Dr. Stanislaus Agava, Secretary and the librarian at the National Intelligence and Research University College came to inspect the preparedness of Alupe University to hold the 2026 AGM for libraries.
Notably, Alupe university library has about 100,000 physical books but has interestingly leveraged on the technology by digitizing and availing over 10 million electronic books, journals and other resources that can be accessed on a smart phone/tablet or computer just by scanning a QR Code. This makes private studies easier and efficient for students within and without the boundaries of the university at the click of an icon.
