Biography

Alice is an experienced educator who began her career as a high school teacher. She later served as a Curriculum Support Officer with the Teachers Service Commission in Kakamega East Sub-County, supervising curriculum implementation and mentoring teachers and learners. She currently works as a Tutorial Fellow at Alupe University in the School of Education and Social Sciences and serves on the university’s Quality Management System Committee.

Alice holds a PhD in Science Education, professional Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution, Certificate in Counselling Psychology, and is an accredited mediator. She is a member of KAEAM and the Mediation Accreditation Commission (MAC).

Research Interests:

Nabie’s research interests focus on science education. I am particularly interested in improving the teaching and learning of biological sciences through innovative teaching pedagogies and the effective implementation of science curricula.
