Biography

He studied at The Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) where he attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Chemistry in 2015. He attained a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Chemistry from JKUAT in 2022, specializing in water Chemistry. His MSc title thesis is: Assessment of selected physico chemical parameters of water and sediment in River Sio, Busia County, Kenya. He is currently pursuing PhD in Chemistry at JKUAT. His PhD title thesis is: Harnessing chitosan and cellulose for sustainable waste water treatment.  He is a member of The Royal Society of Chemistry (UK) and has worked both as a Consultant and Chief rapporteur in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector for Kenya Water and Sanitation Civil Societies Network (KEWASNET), WASH Alliance Kenya and The African Civil Society Network on Water and Sanitation (ANEW)

His areas of research are: Water quality, climate change, adsorption studies, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and natural product chemistry
