The Vice Chancellor led the university management in signing the performance contract for the period beginning 1st July 2025 to 30th June 2026.

The VC signed performance contracts with each of the two deputy vice chancellors, including the division of Administration, Finance and Development (AFD) as well as the division of Academics, Research & Student Affairs (ARSA).

This follows the communique from the head of public service in the Republic of Kenya, requiring that all government departments and agencies adhere to this best practice as the new financial year takes shape. The signing ceremony was witnessed by the members of the university management board after a comprehensive management meeting in the Vice Chancellor’s board room.

Today’s signing of the performance contracts at the highest level of the university’s leadership is expected to be undertaken across all Schools, Directorates, and Departments for efficiency in service delivery at work.
