Alupe University received a delegation from the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), on 7th January, 2026. The visitors comprised of Ms Julian Abere Ojaamong and Mr. Stephen Muli from Busia branch.
The NSSF team paid a courtesy visit to Alupe University with an aim of perusing the Alupe University payroll with regard to NSSF deductions.

While appreciating the visitation the Deputy Vice Chancelor in charge of Administration, Finance and Development (AFD)_ Professor Mahero Toboso commended NSSF for reaching out to its clients.

The NSSF is a statutory organ of the national government that was established in 1965 through an Act of Parliament Cap 258 of the Laws of Kenya to offer social protection to all workers in Kenya. It provides social security protection to workers in the formal and informal sectors. The entity is mandated to register members, receive their contributions, manage funds of the scheme, process and ultimately pay out benefits to eligible members or dependents.
